Duryard: Thomas Hall Bus Stop Success

Cllr. Ben Noble attended the Planning Committee meeting and expressed local residents concerns regarding the conversion of Thomas Hall into a Hotel.

It is envisaged that the work will begin on site in March and the developers are currently still discussing section 106 arrangements with the County Council.

The County Council have confirmed to your FOCUS team that there will be the provision of a bus stop and a new service lay-by at the site - something Cllr. Ben Noble pushed for on local residents behalf.

The County Council have also confirmed that there is the provision of the money needed for a new Residents Parking Zone for the West Garth Road area, however no date is yet identified for consultation.
