St. David's: Traffic Issues

5.00.00pm GMT Thu 10th Dec 2009

Cllr. Phil Brock

Richmond Road

Cllr. Phil Brock asked DCC to investigate the traffic flow in Richmond Road, following continuous reports of disregard of the one way system. Their report states that they feel the 2 exits from the one-way system are adequately signed.

The exit from the car park by Bystock Terrace is not clearly signed and DCC have arranged for the NO ENTRY to be remarked.

Devon County Council are prepared to consider further options for the area, and will report back once further monitoring and investigation is carried out.

Bonhay Road

Following some concern from local residents Cllr. Phil Brock has asked for better signage along Bonhay Road to make motorists aware of the junctions leading from the side roads - Telford, Tavistock, Clayton and Looe.

Devon County Council have confirmed that they will look into this location to establish if it will be possible to make improvements.
