Cllr Michael Mitchell

Michael is a former teacher and university lecturer who has lived in Exeter for over 30 years. A seasoned Liberal Democrat campaigner, he is currently a councillor for Duryard and St James ward on Exeter City Council and Duryard and Pennsylvania on Devon County Council. He is a past member of East Devon District Council and has fought three general elections.

Michael is currently the leader of the Lib Dem group on Exeter City Council. He is a committed community campaigner who believes that councillors should represent the needs of local residents. His political label tells you the way he thinks not how he votes.
