Your Lib Dem Candidates for Heavitree
Phil Brock
Phil was born and educated in Bude, North Cornwall, but moved to Exeter in 1970 whilst working for the Royal Mail. He became self-employed in 1979 and retired in 2019. He was first elected to the city council in 1994 and represented the city until 2012. He was also a member of Devon County Council for 8 years (2005-2013). Housing and the Environment are top of Phil's interests and concerns. He believes strongly in community politics and would encourage more funding within local areas. He will always support cross party co-operation for the good and benefit of local residents and Exeter. He has been politically active since the age of 16, and since retiring has more time to devote to his various interests.
Nigel Williams
I am pleased to have been selected as the Liberal Democrat candidate for Heavitree in the city council elections. I have lived locally for the last 30 years with my family and in Exeter for most of my working life. I hope to bring to our community Liberal Democrat values around equality and fairness to ensure the best quality of life for all residents and to encourage the development of the city to maintain it’s great prospects and future. I have worked in the education sector most of my working life and I have been active trade union supporter. I look forward to working with all stakeholders to help keep Exeter being the great city it can so often be.
