Exeter Liberal Democrats are fielding 13 candidates in 12 wards this year to increase our representation on Exeter City Council.

Priory ward has two vacancies due the resignation of a Labour Councillor

After internal discussions, we decided not to stand this year in Newtown and St Leonards. Local resident Jemima Moore is standing as an independent in the ward in response to the closure of the Clifton Hill Leisure Centre and selling off green spaces. Jemima said: "I am incredibly thankful to Kevin Mitchell, Vanessa Newcombe and all Exeter Liberal Democrats (especially Sandy Chenore) who have supported our work in protecting Clifton Hill throughout and have made the honorable decision to back my campaign by not standing a candidate in Newtown and St Leonard's." We recommend Liberal Democrat supporters vote on this occasion for Jemima Moore www.facebook.com/JemimaMooreECCIndependent
