Liberal Democrats have achieved an historic victory in the Tiverton & Honiton by-election. In doing so, overturning the largest majority in a by-election in British political history. The areas of Tiverton and Honiton had consistently returned Conservative MPs since the 1880s.
The people of Devon have voted to stop being taken for granted and have given their verdict on this government and this Prime Minister.
Whilst Lib Dems from all over the country came and helped in this by-election, we can be proud of the contribution made by Exeter members and supporters: delivering, canvassing, clerical, and telling. Thank you all for your help in achieving this victory.
