As someone who was raised. lives, and works locally, I'm honoured to stand to be your representative on Exeter City Council on 7th May.
I work at SunGift Solar in Exeter, as I strive to enable people to take control of their energy bills and reduce pollution.
Growing up in the local area, including attending Stoke Hill school, means I've experienced how our area has changed over the past couple of decades. Knocking on doors and chatting with people over the past five years has widened and deepened this understanding.
Sometimes it's not always changed for the best - buses, litter, and potholes to name but a few things!
Overall, Pennsylvania is a nice place to live: not far from the centre, pleasant green spaces, and a sense of community. But I want to work with you as I know we can make Pennsylvania even better - somewhere all our community can thrive.
For too long, Labour and the Tories have taken us for granted. They have squandered our money and starved our community of the investment it's needed.
I and the Lib Dems have shown we can demand better - winning control of the County Council last May and electing Cllr Michael Mitchell locally in Duryard & Pennsylvania.
I will continue to work closely with your newly elected Lib Dem County Councillor, Michael Mitchell, to find solutions to ward issues.
We Lib Dems pro-actively listen, take action, and try our best to deliver value for money for our communities.
I hope to speak with you on your doorstep or via email over the coming months.
